Backups are one input. The session covers the other four: ranked systems, a tested restore, a written first hour, and a communications and reporting workflow.
How long would we actually be down?
Nobody knows until they time a restore. We walk through how to measure it per system instead of guessing, and how to close the gap between the recovery time you want and the one you have.
Prevention keeps failing us, so why bother planning?
Acronis' H1 2025 report says social engineering and BEC attacks rose from 20% to 25.6% comparing January–May 2025 with the same period in 2024, so the entry point is still people and email. Good detection wins some of those; the plan is for the ones it doesn't. Timing matters too: Acronis reports February 2025 was the highest monthly peak with 955 ransomware victims, largely driven by Cl0p, which was responsible for 335 cases, a 300% month-over-month increase. Recovery capacity has to exist before a campaign like that arrives, not after.
Who owns this if we don't have an IT department?

- 45 minutes live: roughly 30 minutes of walkthrough, 15 minutes of questions, with a recording available afterward to attendees. Bring a rough list of the systems your business can't operate without for a day — that's enough to do the tiering exercise live.
