- You are running separate products for backup, anti-malware and patching.
- You need immutable backups that ransomware cannot reach.
- You have Microsoft 365 data you assume Microsoft is backing up.
- You need recovery evidence for an auditor or a cyber-insurance renewal.

Everything it covers
- 01 What is covered: servers, endpoints, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, hypervisors
- 02 Immutable storage and how the retention lock actually works
- 03 Anti-ransomware with pre-restore malware scanning, so you do not reinfect on recovery
- 04 Recovery options — file level, full image, bare metal, and failover to cloud
- 05 Typical RPO and RTO figures by workload type
- 06 Where palmiq's managed service starts and the software stops
- 07 Licensing model, per workload and per gigabyte
How we use it
Acronis sits at the center of our backup and recovery stack. Everything on the data sheet is something we run in production for clients — not a feature list copied from a vendor deck.
The section worth reading twice is recovery testing. Software that can restore is common; a process that proves it restored last month is what an auditor and a cyber-insurer actually want to see.
Questions
Before you download
- Does this replace our antivirus?
- It can. Acronis includes endpoint protection, which is much of the consolidation argument. Whether you should replace an incumbent depends on what it is and what it is tied to — we will tell you honestly.
- Do we still need Microsoft 365 backup if we have retention policies?
- Yes. Retention policies protect against accidental deletion within a window. They are not backup, and they will not help against a malicious admin or a ransomware event.
- Is the storage yours or Acronis'?
- Either. We run client data in Acronis cloud storage, in a regional data center for sovereignty requirements, or on storage you already own.
